My First Build: the Minty Boost Kit

I travel a fair bit and like most travelers, I quickly run out of battery on my gadgets. Specifically, I wanted to give my ipod video more play time.  So the Minty Boost was a perfect choice for my first circuit board kit. I bought the kit from Lady Ada: http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10&products_id=14

The instructions were very easy and for my first time soldering on a circuit board I think it was a great choice. Here are the instructions: http://www.ladyada.net/make/mintyboost/, and the forum if you run into any problems: http://forums.adafruit.com/viewforum.php?f=15&sid=3823cadda78e84f74826dad5629346cd

The kit fits into an altoids gum tin.  Oddly, this was not so easy to find in my neck of the woods.  Altoids mints easy… altoids gum, not so much.

Here’s an action pic.
