The rest of the images are just as amazing. Check out Yves Marchand & Romain Meffre’s Photography – The Ruins of Detroit. It reminds me of the many post apocalyptic images of New Orleans that are seared in my mind. Stunningly, Detroit did not experience a flood. They had a different type of man made disaster, an economic one. The 2009 residential lot vacancy in Detroit was 27.8%.
