Suzanne Ciani created the sound effects for Meco’s disco version of the Star Wars soundtrack. Loved this and listened to it with my dad when I was a teenager!

was cast as the musician. The unit featured in the film consisted of a
fully loaded main unit, two fully loaded wing cabinets and dual

Reading: A Social History of Dying

A Social History of Dying

A Social History of Dying takes the reader on a 2 million year journey and examines the major challenges we will all eventually face: anticipating, preparing, taming and timing for our eventual deaths. This is a major review of the human and clinical sciences literature about human dying conduct.

I have just finished reading Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time. Next up is A Social History of Dying, a clear departure from my recent Science Fiction reading. I’m very interested in this book. I am fascinated by the way we face dying and with the recent death of two grandparents that died very differently it will be an interesting exploration.
