I spent two days in DC this week. I did not get out much which was kind of sad. Almost everything I ate was non-McDougall. All and all, down right uneventful if it were not for the train ride to the airport. I had an unusual 20 minutes with a collogue that I have never spoken to one-on-one for such an extended time. We are usually in a room figuring out next steps for the coming year with little chit chat. I walked away knowing a lot about her thinking, her drivers, and for myself a kinship as we have some similar traits both personally and politically.
One of the downsides to teleworking is minimal interaction with people that can be inspiring (or frustrating). I am trying to create opportunities to collide with other people. I hope I can have similar interactions the next time I am there and a little more time in the city to have fun.

“Hello World”
I have graduated from a circuit board to the Arduino, a prototyping platform. Yeah!
